VOL. 01 — THE SERVICES

Three services, each designed to produce a usable written output

The services described below are distinct in scope and duration, but share a common structure: a defined question, a careful process of inquiry, and a written paper that your organisation can use.

VOL. 02 — METHODOLOGY

How engagements are structured

Every engagement begins with an initial conversation in which we discuss the question you have brought to the practice. This conversation is used to establish whether there is a clear scope for the work and to agree on the form the output should take.

Once scope is agreed in writing, the work proceeds through a sequence of structured sessions — typically two to four, depending on the service — in which we examine the question from multiple angles, draw on relevant evidence, and work toward a considered position.

The final written paper is reviewed by a second advisor before delivery. After delivery, there is a brief follow-up conversation to confirm that the paper is clear and that any remaining questions have been addressed.

SVC-001

Conversational Interface Consultation

A consultation for Malaysian firms considering whether a conversational interface — internal or customer-facing — might sensibly support a particular workflow. The consultation walks through the intended users, the context in which the interface would operate, the questions it would be expected to handle, and the questions it should explicitly hand off to a human colleague.

A written paper sets out feasible design choices, the practical limits of each, and a suggested approach to piloting. The paper takes a measured view of both the opportunities and the concerns that attend this kind of deployment.

What the engagement covers

  • Analysis of intended users and operational context
  • Scope of queries the interface should and should not handle
  • Human hand-off design and escalation paths
  • Feasible design options and their respective trade-offs
  • Recommended pilot structure and success criteria

Forecasting Model Advisory

An advisory service for Malaysian organisations using or considering forecasting models for demand, capacity, or financial planning. The advisor examines the current approach — or proposed approach — and its alignment with how the resulting forecasts are actually used in decision-making.

A written paper describes the strengths and limitations of the method, the confidence that can reasonably be placed in its output, and the practical arrangements for its upkeep. Discussion of alternative approaches is included where useful.

What the engagement covers

  • Assessment of current or proposed forecasting method
  • Alignment with how forecasts are used in decisions
  • Honest evaluation of model strengths and limitations
  • Practical upkeep and monitoring recommendations
  • Alternative approaches where evidence warrants

AI Literacy Programme for Senior Teams

A private programme designed for Malaysian senior teams wishing to build a shared working understanding of AI systems — what they can and cannot do, how they are developed, and the kinds of decisions organisational leaders must take when deploying them.

The programme runs as four two-hour sessions across six weeks, blending plain-language explanations with practical exercises drawn from the organisation's own context. Materials are prepared privately for each team and not reused elsewhere.

What the programme covers

  • How AI systems are built and where they fail
  • How to read and assess AI proposals and vendor claims
  • Governance and oversight decisions for senior leaders
  • Exercises using your organisation's own context and challenges
  • Bespoke materials — written for your team, not repurposed

Senior-level delivery throughout

The advisor who conducts the initial conversation is the advisor who leads the work. There is no delegation to junior staff without explicit client agreement.

No vendor commercial interests

The practice earns no fee, referral, or other commercial benefit from any AI vendor, platform provider, or technology reseller.

Strict material confidentiality

Materials produced for one client are never reused, repurposed, or referenced in work for another. This applies to all written papers and programme materials.
